My Story
My journey with Scentsy:
It was the Summer of 2009. I was working at the mall in a store that I shopped in way too often. I really enjoyed talking with customers about candles, body products, and skincare and helping them get what they wanted. The best parts were interacting with people from all over the community. The worst parts were: the long hours and minimum pay. I needed something else in my life, ASAP.
After one long and stressful day of work, I went home and looked up direct selling companies. At the time, my mother and a few friends did direct sells, but I wanted something that was new to the area. Wa-bam! I spotted Scentsy and instantly knew this was right for me. After doing some research (I'm not that spontaneous), I decided that the $99 starter kit was in my price range and the low cost investment for my own business was harmless.If it worked out, Wonderful! If it didn't, not much money lost.
I waited impatiently for the starter kit to arrive. When the UPS guy dropped it off, I spent all night smelling each and every tester and calling my friends and family to let them know what was going on! Within a week, I had my launch party and fast forward to now, I'm still loving what I do with my Scentsy business. I've met some incredible people, traveled for some of the best and most fun training events, and contributed thousands of dollars in fundraising. THIS is what it's all about!!
